Éclair is a very
famous French pastry made from pâte à choux (choux pastry). I’ve read that it
has been a popular dessert for over 120 years by now. Yet, I always thought
that making éclairs is incredibly complicated. Therefore, for the longest time
I was very hesistant to try and make them myself. But when I finally did have
the courage to try them, I was so surprised to find out that it’s not that
complicated at all and they turned out great from the first try! Granted, they
don’t look all that uniform and professional as the ones in French bakeries but
the taste is the same! Besides, home baking doesn’t have to look perfect.

Macaroni and Cheese
Nothing compares
to macaroni and cheese. It’s a universal dish: goes well with almost everything. I
think many would agree, that the cheese sauce in mac’n’cheese is the most
important. You can serve this dish as a main course or a side dish.
The recipe was
adapted from food.com. This is so far the best mac'n'cheese I've ever made.

Seasonal Vegetable Cream Soup
Lately I decided to start eating healthy... Again. I thought of making
myself something filling, yet healthy, and what can be better than a
vegetable soup. I looked in my fridge and found only some potatoes,
carrots and cauliflower. But then again in Finland at this time of the
year these are seasonal vegetables. Isn't that what all nutritionists
recommend, eating seasonal vegetables? So, here's the recipe. I hope you
enjoy it!

Turkey in Creamy Sauce
I would like to share a recipe that is an absolute favorite in our family. I found it about three years ago in some magazine. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the magazine, so I can't reference it. But we fell in love with this dish so much that we've been preparing it ever since. This dish can be included in a daily menu, as well as a festive one. The greatest perk of this recipe, though, is that the fact that it's very simple to prepare! Give it a try, you won't regret it! Bon appétit!
