Turkey in Creamy Sauce

I would like to share a recipe that is an absolute favorite in our family. I found it about three years ago in some magazine. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the magazine, so I can't reference it. But we fell in love with this dish so much that we've been preparing it ever since. This dish can be included in a daily menu, as well as a festive one. The greatest perk of this recipe, though, is that the fact that it's very simple to prepare! Give it a try, you won't regret it! Bon appétit!

Chai Latte

My daughter adores masala chai, which is a flavored black tea with milk. It originates from South Asia and has a spicy taste to it. Hope you will like it as well.

For this recipe you will need a mix of black tea with Indian spices. If you don’t want to buy readymade spiced tea, you can make your own.

Moist Double Chocolate Muffins

Since my family adores chocolate baking, I decided to make some Double Chocolate Muffins. The muffins came out very delicious and very very chocolaty. In order to make these muffins it literally takes no more than half an hour! Not to mention that on top of it all your whole house will smell appetizing!

Karjalanpaisti (Karelian Hot Pot)

Since I live in Finland, I would like to acquaint you with one traditional Finnish dish that is called Karjalanpaisti (Carelian Hot Pot). Apparently, in the olden days, before the lumberjacks would go off to work in the forest, they would place a pot of Karjalanpaisti in the oven, and after a several hours they would return to an appetizing, roasted and delicious meal. Let’s try it out as well!

Welcome!

My name is Rosetta L. I‘m a happy wife and a mother of two grown-up children, unfortunately not yet a grandmother, though. My main occupation is teaching, yet I put a lot of work into my home and family. I love my family very much, and I love pleasing them by cooking something delicious.

I’m happy to welcome all my readers to my blog that is dedicated to home and home-made cuisine. Here you will not come across any fancy recipes, but instead you will find recipes that are proven to be easy, simple and bullet-proof, which nevertheless, create beautiful dishes.

My main goal here is to show that cooking at home is simple and easy, as well as making your home nice and cozy for you and your close ones to enjoy.

I hope that we’ll have a good time together!
