Moist Double Chocolate Muffins

Since my family adores chocolate baking, I decided to make some Double Chocolate Muffins. The muffins came out very delicious and very very chocolaty. In order to make these muffins it literally takes no more than half an hour! Not to mention that on top of it all your whole house will smell appetizing!

Ingredients:

7 tablespoons butter, softened
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
5.3 oz (150 g) chocolate chips

Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Whisk butter and sugar in a large bowl. Slowly beat the eggs in (one by one) and add the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Add the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture. Don’t forget to sift the dry mix before, in order to get a more uniform batter.
  4. Add chocolate chips and fill prepared muffin cups 3/4 full.

  5. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. The muffins are ready when the inserted toothpick comes out clean.
